Shipping Charges

As a small business, Dawn Clarke Designs is often unable to negotiate cheaper rates with Courier Companies – not because we don’t want to – but because cheaper rates are offered to larger companies thanks to the huge volumes of parcels they send.  

Right now, we are in the hands of the courier companies and we have chosen a courier company where we know we are in safe hands who offer a reliable service, which comes at a cost.  As a valued customer, we really thank you for your understanding. 

Dispatch Times

Once we have received your order, if it is a ready to wear garment, it will be shipped to you between 2 – 3 business days (excluding weekends and UK public holidays).    For made to order garments, it will be shipped 14 days after the date of the order.   

Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email notifying you of tracking details. Orders for the UK delivery will be dispatched the next business day and will be delivered within one to two business days – before the end of the day.  Orders to the EU will be delivered three business days – before the end of the day.  

International Charges

Please be aware that international deliveries will be subject to local taxes, customs duties and a clearance/handling fee once the order reaches the destination country.  Our shipping prices at checkout do not include these additional charges.  Dawn Clarke Designs has no control over any delays or charges that may be incurred through international delivery.   Any charges must be paid by yourself.   Please double check the email address you used to place your order, as Customs normally contact you this way.  You may wish to contact the relevant Customs authorities to confirm before placing an order.
